Atterdag Audio is run by Emil Rønning, musician, composer, sound designer and field recordist with a taste for the leftfield without going off the rails completely; “avant-garde input, pop output”.
Having been fascinated with, studied it and spent a lot of time in the outdoors (preferably as far away from civilisation as possible), Emil finds that the most interesting results happen in the intersection between culture and nature, and our attempt to understand our place as humans in the world.
As the Norwegians have said for decades: “nature is the home of culture”
